Monday Morning
The alarm goes off at 5 am. Get out of bed. Get showered, dressed, and eat a quick breakfast. The wife and teenage kids will be up soon, and the place will be a madhouse, with everyone getting ready for school and work. Check email quickly to see if there were any early morning fires to put out at work. Everybody’s up now, and running around trying to get ready. Tommy missed his school bus, and needs a ride to school. The wife reminds you to pick up the dry cleaning after work. Elaine needs a ride from dance class this evening. The wife has a meeting this evening at church, so everyone is on their own for dinner. Pizza, and ground beef are in the refrigerator.
At work, meeting after meeting. Project manager informs everyone they are running behind schedule. Will need to put in more time to catch up.
After work, pick up dry cleaning, and pick up Elaine from dance. Try to get some more work done on project. The wife gets home from her church meeting. The kids are fighting about something. “Ok you kids. Quit all of that fighting!!!” The wife comes in to talk about her day. After an hour, you try to get back to work on your project. The boss calls with some updated figures. He is emailing the information. At 11:30 pm, the house is quiet. The wife is in bed asleep. The kids are in their rooms on their phones. At 12:30 am, bed at last.
Tuesday Morning
The alarm goes off at 5 am. Get out of bed. Get showered, dressed, and eat a quick breakfast. The wife and teenage kids will be up soon, and the place will be a madhouse, with everyone getting ready for school and work. Check email quickly to see if there were any early morning fires to put out at work. Everybody’s up now, and running around trying to get ready. Tommy missed his school bus again, and needs a ride to school. The wife reminds you of the church meeting in the evening. Elaine needs money for her dance outfit.
At work, meeting after meeting. Project manager reminds everyone they are running behind schedule. Will need to put in more time to catch up. Meeting with clients in the afternoon. Leave work late, and rush home to be on time for church meeting. Pick up a burger on the way home from MyBurger.
Church meeting runs late. Get home at 10 pm. Kids are in their rooms on their phones. Sit down and watch the news with the wife, then try and get some work done on project. Go to bed around 12:30 am.
Wednesday Morning
The alarm goes off at 5 am. Get out of bed. Get showered, dressed, and eat a quick breakfast. The wife and teenage kids will be up soon, and the place will be a madhouse, with everyone getting ready for school and work. Check email quickly to see if there were any early morning fires to put out at work. Everybody’s up now, and running around trying to get ready. Tommy missed his school bus again. Sorry bud. Walk or take the city bus. You have to learn to get up earlier instead of staying up half the night on your phone. The wife reminds you of Bible Study in the evening. Darn it! Was so busy, forgot to do the lesson. Elaine announces that she is through with her now, ex-boyfriend Chuck, forever.
At work, meeting after meeting. Project manager reminds everyone, again, they are running behind schedule. Will need to put in more time to catch up. Leave work late, and rush home to be on time for Bible Study. Good thing it’s virtual. After Bible Study, sit down and watch the news with the wife, then put in some more work on the project. Lose track of time. Go to bed at 1 am.
Thursday Morning
The alarm goes off at 5 am. Get out of bed. Get showered, dressed, and eat a quick breakfast. The wife and teenage kids will be up soon, and the place will be a madhouse, with everyone getting ready for school and work. Check email quickly to see if there were any early morning fires to put out at work. Everybody’s up now, and running around trying to get ready. Tommy heads out the door on time for his school bus. There’s hope for him yet. Elaine announces that Chuck saw the error of his ways, and they are back together again. The wife reminds you of Elaine’s dance performance at school this evening.
At work, meeting after meeting. Project manager tells everyone that it’s crunch time. Will need to put in more work to complete project on time. Leave work late, and rush home to be on time for Elaine’s dance performance. After getting home from the dance performance, sit down with wife and watch the news. After the news, wife goes to bed. Kids are in their rooms on their phones. Sit down at desk to get some more work done on project. You wake up. Fell asleep at desk. It 2 am. Go to bed.
Friday Morning
The alarm goes off at 5 am. Get out of bed. Get showered, dressed, and eat a quick breakfast. The wife and teenage kids will be up soon, and the place will be a madhouse, with everyone getting ready for school and work. Check email quickly to see if there were any early morning fires to put out at work. Everybody’s up now, and running around trying to get ready. Tommy heads out the door on time for his school bus. Chuck comes by to pick up Diane for school. The wife reminds you of Tommy’s football game after school, and her office party this evening.
At work, meeting after meeting. Project manager tells everyone they did a great job in getting the project completed on time, and he’s sure the client will be impressed. Small office party to celebrate completion. Leave work for Tommy’s football game. He’s a freshman, so probably won’t play, but it will be good to be there. That evening, go to wife’s office party. Nice evening. Get home. News was off long ago. Go to bed at 1am. It was a long week.
Saturday Morning
Alarm goes off at 6 am The wife is asleep. The kids are asleep. Get showered and dressed, and eat a quick breakfast. Going to the movies with the wife this evening, but for now, tee time’s at 8:00. Ahh yes. The good life.
